Redesign 


SmartOSC was invited to update Friso's website and design a better new experience. This involved overhauling the user interface to enhance customer engagement across various channels. Our goal was to drastically improve how users navigate and interact with the website. SmartOSC guided Friso through the Design Thinking journey, keeping in mind their target audience: parents of newborns.

 

Optimization 


A key part of this project involved optimizing Friso's website for a better customer experience. Throughout the project, a series of A/B tests were conducted across the website over time to ensure everything was optimized. To track success, the number of transactions was counted and compared to identify the most popular variants. At the end of the testing, the newly organized navigation menu was found to be a clear winner, showing a 54% improvement compared to the previous version. As a direct result of these tests, the website design became more user-friendly. A unique aspect of this success was the direct feedback from customers regarding the changes made. This human-centered approach brought significant benefits to Friso and their customers.

 

Integration 


To provide a wider variety of payment options, we integrated Braintree and Veritrans payment gateways. These gateways offer multi-channel payment solutions, including local and international payment methods, while also providing a secure checkout process to protect customer information.

Marketing

To add value for customers, a new flow of marketing and promotional capabilities was developed. Through user testing, Mailchimp was chosen for its extensive features and ease of use. This platform was integrated into Magento for quick synchronization with Friso's store and products. We also developed a microsite that supports various products and special promotions to serve the target customers with promotional and informative content, further enhancing brand awareness and engagement.
