Their products have received CES Innovations Design and Engineering awards in 2013, 2014, and 2015. Highly intelligent, Netatmo's innovative products provide a seamless experience that helps users create a safer, healthier, and more comfortable home.
Netatmo's main sales channel is through marketplaces like Amazon.com. However, Netatmo desires more control in promoting their brand and products while increasing sales. As a result, Netatmo decided to update their e-commerce site through Magento.

Enhanced Brand Image
Netatmo aims to revamp their website to improve brand perception while also making it fast and easy for customers to shop. Targeted for launch before Black Friday 2015, our team had two months from project development to go live, including strategy, new business logic, modern responsive design integration, and support for online marketing activities.
Seamless Checkout Process
With a specific focus on the checkout process, Netatmo hopes to redesign and enhance the shopping cart and checkout pages with a more user-friendly layout and streamlined procedures. This way, Netatmo ensures that customers can access and purchase their products quickly and without obstacles.
Synchronized Online to Offline Experience
Finally, Netatmo wants to synchronize user accounts between their store and mobile app. Their overall goal is to create a more connected user experience across channels to reflect their smart and connected products.

Our Key to Success
SmartOSC was chosen for this project due to our expertise with the Magento platform and our extensive resources that can meet Netatmo's timeline. In this case, Netatmo's previous platform was outdated, necessitating an upgrade to Magento. This means their platform will have better compatibility with the latest integrations and extensions, while also being more optimized and secure.
With the checkout process being a key focus, it was decided that everything from the shopping cart to the transaction needed to be updated with a user-friendly design. Users can now save their details in an account for easier one-click purchases in the future. However, guest checkout has also been enabled, allowing anyone to make purchases without needing to create an account on the site.
The shopping cart has been given a new theme that makes it more mobile-friendly and responsive. This theme creates a more cohesive customer experience, regardless of the device they are using to shop. It also optimizes our client's content and marketing processes.
To ensure a smoother experience for users across various channels, Netatmo's corporate website is now linked to the new online store. By integrating these channels, customers are never far from the information they need about both products and the company.
Another major technical issue addressed was connecting the online store with the mobile app. There was a need to synchronize user accounts between the store so that customers always have access to their information and can link their profiles across platforms.
Real-time sales counters have also been implemented, providing greater insights into overall sales activity.
