From its beginnings until now, SGLA has sought to provide quality eyewear that inspires and empowers those like you, who desire timeless fashion at an affordable price. What started out as one’s need for sunglasses, evolved into an outlet for positivity and individuality.


SunglassLA needed a dependable platform to handle increases in traffic and give their web store a facelift without limiting the design influence of their creative team. The previous platform was plagued with performance issues, needlessly compromising sales potential and driving away customers.
The new store would need to be lean and agile but capable of withstanding a steady flow of visitors and orders. There would also need to be backend support through a third party connector to help consolidate the activities from the branded store and marketplaces.

How We Did It?

BigCommerce offers an all-inclusive solution for eCommerce. SunglassLA needed something scalable, consistent and responsive to make sure there would be no interruptions for their customers. The fulfillment options and API potentials added another layer of benefits that gave SGLA confidence in the platform.

SmartOSC also worked closely with the SGLA creative team to come up with a design that would stand out and highlight the products and collections without reducing browsability. BigCommerce did not feature the same design limitations as the former platform, therefore permitting greater creative freedom.

ChannelAdvisor Integration
ChannelAdvisor connects its clients with new and existing sources of demand for their products. This makes it a great addition when considering multiple sales channels including marketplaces and physical retail space. SunglassLA wanted to combine their efforts from the web store and marketplaces while maintaining stable management of both.
